What is booking payment procedure? (inc deposit)

A 20% deposit at the time of booking is required (if it is four weeks or longer before the planned hire), which is non-refundable. The balance is due four weeks before the collection date.

 

A bond is due to be paid on collection of the campervan. This is held until the campervan has been returned and inspected. The bond is refunded within 3 days, after the return of the campervan, if no damage has been caused to the campervan. The bond is £500 regardless of the period of hire.

 

Chilldayz Camper Hire will not hire any campervan on any other terms and conditions. These terms and conditions become binding at the time of booking. Providing that these terms and conditions have been made available to you, through the booking process, they are binding on you, whether or not they have been signed by you. Payment is by Debit, or Credit card,  or bank transfer.

 

Discount only for 7 nights.

  • 7 nights is 10% discount

Are we fully insured & how does it work?

Yes, we’re all fully insured and covered by our insurance company Markerstudy Insurance Services Ltd.  Insurance under a Fleet Self-Drive-Hire Policy, brokered by Alan Boswell Insurance Group. Our fully comprehensive insurance policy covers drivers between the ages of 23 and 79 with up to three points on their licence. We may be able to accommodate you outside of these parameters by agreement  – please contact us.
The cost the of insurance is included in the advertised price.

Can I bring my dog?

No, we do not allow dogs or any pets to accompany the hire of the campervan.

Is bedding included?

No, we do not supply bedding. You will need to provide your own towels, bedding and food.

Can I cook in the van?

Yes, there are cooking facilities to enable you to cook inside, though we ask you are mindful of the decor and cook outside when possible.

Are there age restrictions to hiring a camper?

Yes, you must be aged between 23 and 79.

Are the campers covered by roadside assistance?

Yes, each of our campers are covered by a premium AA Roadside Assistance policy.

Is there a cancellation policy?

Yes, please see cancellation fees / charges below:
  • More than 8 weeks prior to departure 15% retained.
  • Less than 8 weeks and more than 4 weeks prior to departure 50% retained.
  • Less than 4 weeks and more than 2 weeks prior to departure 75% retained.
  • Less than 2 weeks prior to departure 100% retained.

 

We advise all hirers to take out their own holiday insurance to cover any eventualities.
